With the development of concrete batching plant, in the process of producing concrete, some additives such as water reducing and retarder are usually added to meet the needs of the project. However, the improper using of additives will affect the setting time of concrete. It will affect the construction period, even cause more serious engineering accident. In the course of production and construction,appropriate measures may cause concrete overtime retarding. For example, the mixing water containing oil, acid, sugar,concrete will produce a serious retarding phenomenon in addition to additive.Nowadays, most of the cement mixed materials, the addition of the admixture not only reduces the cost of cement, but also improve the performance of the cement. But the amount or varieties of admixture is not proper, it often cause concrete abnormal retarding. And If the content is too high, it may also cause the overtime retarding. 2)Check the admixture and cement applied in concrete. The amount should be determined by trial.
3) Each batch of cement should be retention of samples.Once found abnormal, it can be traced back.
4)Guide correctly construction organization of concrete batching plant to use commercial concrete and eliminate the influence of using inappropriate construction technology.
